Proto-type @ BAC
Proto-type’s About Silence will be at BAC in London from 13 Nov to 15 Nov. Performers will include Lisa Goldman (Soho Theatre), Philippa Barr (NWN), Ant Hampton (Rotozaza), Adrian Heathfield, Helen Paris (Curious), Jem Kelly, Fiona Templeton and Andrew Quick (imitating the dog). Tickets are now on sale.
Proto-type receives Arts Council Funding:
Proto-type Theater has just been awarded support for one year of our organizational development plan and for our new work Virtuoso (working title). Read more.
Proto-type to develop new piece in Ulverston:
Proto-type Theater will be spending a week in residence at at the National Creation Centre, Lanternhouse in Ulverston where we will rehearse our new touring theatre piece, Virtuoso (working title).

Proto-type Theater is based in Lancaster, UK and Brooklyn, NY and we make original theater and media work that tours internationally. Our recent piece, Whisper toured throughout the UK and to PS 122 in New York City where it was acclaimed as “an intriguing brush with altered reality... poetic. And the production flirts with the feel of a supernatural, psychological thriller.” (New York Times).
